My client is a major UK manufacturer of process capital equipment, instrumentation and services for the semi conductor, scientific, process, renewable and Power Gen markets. They have over 100 years within the market, over 6000 professionals worldwide with an annual turnover of over £1 billion per year. They have various sites in the UK, including large manufacturing facilities. They have a global reach with a major presence across the US, Far East and Middle East. This company have shown an ongoing commitment to developing their internal staff and boast one a low staff turnover and higher than market remuneration structure.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / similar subject matter or HND and relevant experience 2 years in technology research and development preferred Comprehensive knowledge of O365 Platform and Apps Microsoft Flow, Power BI, PowerApps Highly knowledgeable of emerging technology trends (AR/VR/MR, Big Data, SMAC, AGV etc.) Data analytics (Excel / SPSS / MATLAB)Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP)

To assist with the delivery of the Operational Technology (OT) Roadmap. To assist with strategy development for implementation of new technologies. To research and analyse new and emerging technologies and their viability within Field Service. To maintain digital products released on the OT Roadmap. To act as a point of contact and expertise on the products released from the OT Roadmap. To contribute to a technology watchlist. To support the Field Service Audit of technological operations. The role is split between coordinating 20%, research and development 40%, and implementation 40%.

From £30,000 to £32,000 per annum 7.5% bonus
