The company is a leading manufacturer of a comprehensive range of Materials Handling Systems / Automation.

This BDM will be a key driving force for the growth and development of the business with responsibility for significantly increasing our sales revenue within this competitive market.

You will be targeted with identifying new business contacts, generating sales leads from existing and new clients, and effectively managing sales opportunities from initial concept through to successful and profitable completion. Managing existing accounts and looking for new opportunities to increase revenue within them.

• Identify and generate leads for new business opportunities
• Generate accurate and competitive proposals
• Prepare and deliver presentations and quotations
• Negotiate, finalise and close deals
• Build strong and sustainable relationships with existing and new customers
• Provide accurate and timely monthly reports to UK Head of Sales
• Populate and keep up-to-date CRM records and reports
• Attend site meetings with our customers and/or 3PL as required
• Ensure new customers are credit checked prior to starting business with them
• Provide effective feedback to both the company and our customers
• Be reliable and punctual and keep commitments made by the organization to our customers
• To work in a safe manner and follow all H&S requirements including COSHH as necessary
• To represent the business in a positive manner at all time.

£45-55K plus car
