MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - POWER
Our client is a global manufacturer of equipment for the power & energy, process and industrial sectors. They are a global, rapidly expanding manufacturer.
HNC in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings parts and lists.
Strong trouble shooting skills with a drive to reduce and eliminate waste
Good mechanical aptitude with a hands-on mentality
Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods
Microsoft excel and data analysis reporting
Understanding of and experience within a lean environment is beneficial
Streamline manufacturing process' procedures and methodologies to improve final product
Design and development of jigs, fixtures and tools to improve manufacturing throughput and quality.
Provide technical support and solutions to manufacturing process's and procedures
Reverse engineering customer samples in order to estimate new opportunities.
Handle all technical problems and products
Analyze product design for best method of manufacture
Prepare and maintain process flow documentation
Initiate and implement safety measures for plant workers
Co-ordinates input from internal / external customers to better understand customer needs and expectations
Provide leadership around continuous improvement
