Great opportunity for a CAD Drafter/Estimator to join a growing business as an established distributor of Warehouse Storage Systems, Commercial and Industrial Office Partitioning and Mezzanine Floors.

The CAD Drafter/Estimator role will be responsible for providing a good level of support to our sales team by providing 2D CAD drawings and quotations. The successful candidate would require the ability to maintain a good working relationship with existing and new clients in assisting at a technical level with the sales process from enquiry stage to project completion.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Assisting the sales team in providing technical information to new and existing clients. - Provide 2D CAD Drawings to specific deadlines.- To prepare and issue quotations as directed by the sales team. - To participate in following up enquiries and quotations as required. - To conduct site surveys at both enquiry and order stage as directed.- To assist project managers in preparing installations to site, as and when required, including liaising with suppliers and sub-contractor installation teams. - To assist with compiling and updating records and documents under ISO 9001 scheme. - The role will be based at our offices at Pendeford Wolverhampton.

The CAD Drafter/Estimator will have a key role within the company and will require experience in the CAD drafting, estimating and customer service. Experience in project management and site surveying would be useful, however training would be provided. Core skills and competencies required for the role: - Experience of working alongside an internal sales team and technical environment. - Must have a clean driving licence for occasional visits to sites. - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all organisational levels, particularly working with senior managers. Competency in preparing reports, managing time, contributing to meetings.

up to £28K Depending on experience.
