The role reports to the National Sales Manager and will be covering areas in the North Western Counties area. The key aim of this role is to develop and manage the relationship between you and all existing customers and prospects within a designated sales territory, in order to promote the sale of. Companies products and services so as to achieve or exceed sales targets in line with agreed budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling capital equipment to the UK manufacturing industry (Food/Pharma/Chemical). Have a degree or HND or equavilant in a technical discipline with sales experience. Alternatively the candidate may be of a non-sales background but will have experience in an alternative engineering/technical role in the Food, Pharma or Chemical Industry and will be able to demonstrate the skills required to be successful in a sales environment. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is target driven and can demonstrate a real thirst to succeed. Applicants must be PC literate (with knowledge of Word/ Excel), ideally have an understanding/experience of using CRM systems. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must hold a full driving licence.

Key Role Responsibilities: Developing and reviewing effectiveness of an area Business plan in support of National and Corporate goals. Achieving all revenue targets and objectives in line with the approved Area Business Plan. Developing and maintaining successful business relationships with all prospects and customers in the designated Sales area. Reporting business trends and area performance to the National Sales Manager. Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with all internal functions.

£25-30k plus commission, car etc ....OTE £50k
