Previous experience within a WCS/WMS project delivery role, including requirements gathering, solution design, build, test, and rollout phases of a project
Self-motivator that can work without regular instructions
Independent, taking full ownership of tasks
Be able to successfully and productively resolve problems
Organised and methodical
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to articulate technical issues and solutions with key stakeholders at all levels
End-to-end project delivery experience, from discovery through to deployment/go-live
Good documentation skills and capable to prepare project documents as required
Ability to be efficient and productive under pressure
People management experience
Travel to customer and client sites as needed
JOB PURPOSE: To be responsible for implementing solutions and software functionality that meet clients' needs and specifications related to warehouse control and warehouse management.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to define business and technical requirements to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs.
Design a functional and technical solution that meets complex client requirements both now and, in the future, by ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, scalable, resilient, and secure.
Define detailed specifications according to which solutions are defined, managed, and delivered, in support of functional and technical project resources.
Build senior client relationships through high-quality delivery work.
Advising on project progress and development, including design, technology choices, life cycles, costs, and resource availability.
Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution design and delivery.
Pre-sales technical support
Manage, monitor and motivate cross functional teams
£35 - 70k depending on experience
The role is based at Cranfield/home, however in line with business needs will require travel to national, EU or international locations, whether operated by/on behalf of the business or client sites
