FACTORY MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Core Skills and Responsibilities: Manage the standard costing process - Creating and maintaining the "rule book" - Communicating the cost of production to the commercial side of the business - Managing the Masterdata administrators which set the products up on SAP Be the point of contact/expert for their area providing critical information with robust insights in projects/reports and at cross functional meetings Lead on relevant cross functional projects that will improve factory profitability providing feasibility insights to the Commercial function Maintain the distribution reporting, providing visibility of cost drivers Production KPI reporting- assist in development of, and ongoing maintenance and critical review. Prepare & Co-ordinate TSC board schedules Prepare accruals and prepayments for all of the TSC cost centres, providing explanations to variances to budget/ Outlook Check & sign all TSC purchase ledger invoices Prepare NPD product Costings, collating the information from the stakeholders, benchmarking the recovery rates against existing products Reviewing the NPD costs, 3 months post launch, revisiting assumptions and updating the business of the accuracy Be the TSC Business Warehouse report writer Provide cover for the other Management Accountants
Strong literacy and numeracy skills; Excellent Excel skills with good knowledge of SAP ideally; Comfortable and confident with contacts at senior level internally and externally; CIMA Finalist/Part qualified OR ACCA qualified/part qualified; Office - Excel and Word (essential); PowerPoint, Access (desirable); Team player able to work cross functionally; Confident and articulate communicator able to influence and engage with non-finance functions; Inquisitive, tenacious and resilient able to understand and interrogate data to identify root cause and provide credible solutions/recommendations; Able to work independently; Able to work flexibly with regard to time and deadlines
£40, 000 p/a, pension, healthcare, 23 days holiday
