The company is a University spin off, based around mobile robot chemist technology. We are developing a web-based platform that allows scientists to perform experiments remotely, using industrial (mobile) robots. The experiments, driven by machine-learning, are orchestrated from a software platform. Our customers are in various sectors including pharmaceuticals, materials science and personal care. We are a team of chemists with a passion for automation, and in particular autonomous research, and are looking to expend our team to help us build the robotic platform.

Experience in leading people and managing resource.
Project Management (e.g. GAMP)
Experience taking PoC installation to Pilot installation
Interest in machine-learning and artificial intelligence, in particular Probabilistic Robotics, and Bayesian Optimization for scientific applications.
Experience/interest in lab automation, hardware integration, science in general.

We are looking for an Manufacturing engineer, that focusses on transforming Proof of Concept installations to Pilot installations. You will be responsible for improving proof of concept designs iteratively with developers, liaising with suppliers, deployment, control of design, overall manufacturing of parts (both internally via Rapid Prototyping as externally). Within this role, you will be responsible for, and work in close collaboration with team of robotic developers. Within the robot cell collaborative robotics and laboratory instruments are integrated to perform laboratory tasks. These robotic processes will be continuously integrated in robotic laboratory automation software that will allow for fully automated scientific experiments.
