GLOBAL SALES MANAGER - COMPONENTS
The company is well-established manufacturer of specialist components - servicing the aerospace, automotive, construction, industrial sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business, managing and helping to shape the sales strategy of the business. The business has a global customer base with revenues exceeding £50m.
• Demonstrable leadership success managing sales teams
• Experience of selling components/parts in a B2B environment
• Experience selling into multi layered purchasing structures
• Meticulous attention to detail and used to effectively managing customer led projects
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate well with others of all levels, both internally and externally
• Proven negotiation skills and good commercial acumen
Develop and lead the UK and global sales strategy
Fully responsibility for sales revenue and margin in line with agreed targets and objectives
Visit and liaise with key customers regularly to maintain and develop sales
Work closely with the Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering teams to ensure the division delivers a strong customer experience
Supporting the Purchasing and Supply Chain departments to achieve divisional stock objectives
Oversee the Sales, Customer Contract, Sales Funnel and Sales Quotation processes, ensuring they are being followed and monitored
Support and develop the Sales team so they are continually working to better themselves and work to our core values
Identify opportunities and range gaps, working with Product Management and Engineering to bring to market new products
