SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER
This is a great opportunity working for a market leader within the Intralogistics / Automated Warehousing industry.
Willing to travel to project related locations throughout the UK as required to successfully implement project deliverables. Some occasional European travel may also be required

To manage multiple concurrent systems projects through to project completion ensuring projects are completed to specification, on time and budget and to the required quality. In addition to managing projects, a priority of this role is to ensure Employees at all times work in accordance with the appropriate Risk Assessment, Safe System of Work or Work Place Risk Assessment in order to maintain the highest standards of work place safety.
Supplier / Customer management - establish productive business relationships with all levels of suppliers and customers (internal and external).
Project manage the systems elements (LWS Reflex and Analytex) of integrated projects, supporting the overall project manager, through the complete software project implementation life cycle, leading to customer handover.
Project Manage a portfolio of Systems Upgrades and Enhancement (SUE) projects.
Ensuring that the company's Stage-gate process is adhered to, during the implementation of projects.
Use the tools available (JIRA, Finance Packs, Time Sheet Reports, Burn Charts, MS Project) to maintain control and report on project progress.
Technical - use and interrogate LWS Reflex and Analytex, to provide expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Scope Control - control the deliverables, so that changes in scope are formally recorded and variations agreed in a timely manner.
Variations - ensure that variations are understood, presented to customers and actively pursued.
Software budget management - control project costs, deliver within budget and reporting thereof, in the agreed timescales.
Implementation - ensure the customer has gained an adequate level of knowledge to be able to professionally execute the software delivered.
Prepare and maintain the project plan and schedule - control project time-scales, deliver on time.
Resource management and development - direction, motivation, training and decision support to staff allocated to your projects. Recognise and manage differing skill sets, performance and resolve conflicts.
Organisation of the procurement of Systems project hardware and it's installation on site.
£40K + car allowance + other additional benefits
