SALES DIRECTOR - INTRALOGISTICS
Global group operating within supply chain technology
o A proven track-record of successfully building and managing a sales team and achieving sales
budgets (minimum 5 years' sales leadership experience)
o 10+ years within the supply chain industry or similar
o Excellent and engaging presentation skills
o Experience of working in a fast-moving sales-led culture
o Strong commercial acumen with experience in growing margins from both new and existing
o Creative problem solver with a willingness to be held to account
o Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results
within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
o Must be proficient at analysing data, building, reporting, and making strategic
recommendations based on data and trends
Areas of interest include;
Supply chain, robotics, automation, enterprise software, WMS, intralogistics
Main responsibilities include:
Sales Leadership & Management
o Direct all sales activities to maximise software and hardware sales revenue
o Direct, mentor and manage the Head of Account Management
o Direct, mentor and manage a team of Key Account Managers & Business Development
o Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams
o Provide strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to the sales team whilst maintaining a
culture of high performance
o Manage personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates,
disciplines, recommends termination as necessary etc.)
o Educate sales team on sales strategy and tactics
o Perform sales activities on major accounts and support complex negotiations
o Engage directly, and on a regular basis, with our largest customers and prospects
o Carry out monthly major deal reviews
circa 90k base and 60k commission plus car and the usuals for a senior package.
