It is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate at least 5 years' previous experience of working within the materials handling and automation sector and will be realistically qualified to at least HNC level in a relevant engineering qualification (although previous experience within the sector will also be favourably considered).

Main Task

o Prospect for potential sales opportunities using the internet, personal contacts, telephone calling, existing customers, and strategic alliances.
o Visit customers/potential customers to promote the company's products and services.
o Visit customers/potential customers to discuss and evaluate requirements/quotes/contracts.
o Act as the main point of contact with customers for all enquires and contracts.
o Identify and form strategic alliances with companies where we complement and add value to each other's products and services.
o Maintain/retain/build business with existing customers.
o Expand customer base.
o Preparation of Sales related reports.
o Participation in and preparation of quotations, including, solution, price specification layout, etc.
o Identify new markets for the company's existing products.
o Identify new products which will expand the company's product range to meet new customer/market demands.
o Manage marketing and PR strategy and execution in cooperation with Head Office.

40-60k plus car and bonus
