JOB OVERVIEW

The Field Marketing Manager for will report to the Vice President of Field Marketing for EME (Europe and the Middle East), and have a dotted line to the Sales Director of VVM, AMR and
SCMS. This position will be part of the Global Marketing Team to ensure consistency and leverage of worldwide marketing activities, as well as the cross-functional EME Leadership
Team to drive improved market awareness, business growth and customer success in the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the business strategic planning process, collaborate closely with the other marketing functions, and align with key internal and external stakeholders.

Define go-to-market strategies and tactics for new and existing products and services, leveraging global programs and activities.

Develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Build a strong process for lead and opportunity management.

Enable salespeople with marketing assets to accelerate the customer buying journey and improve win rates.

Create installed base marketing strategies and activities to ensure customer retention, reference-ability and solution penetration.

Maximize synergy with the global shared services teams (digital experience & innovation, product marketing & strategy and corporate communications & brand) to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Perform business impact analyses of marketing assets to drive continuous improvement.

Recruit, lead, train and retain a team of direct reports.

Work with target partners on strategies and plans to increase joint revenues and market share.

Enhance a strong communications database with key influencers and decision-makers at the group, business unit and executive levels in defined target markets.

Help guide a digital-first strategy across multiple countries, and coach the team to excel at digital demand generation

Monitors and drives all individual and team performance goals through effective line management.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The ideal candidate must be both “hands-on” and “big-picture” focused, as well as a wellrounded marketing professional. He/she must also be able to effectively interface with prospects, partners, customers, sales, marketing, product development and external vendors.

Key qualifications and experience must include the following:

At least 3 years of experience in enterprise software companies, marketing value-add software and services solutions to high-end customers.

At least 3 years enterprise product/solutions marketing & sales experience focusing on the various marketing activities outlined above.

At least 3 years experience leading digital marketing initiatives.

Experience in the logistics / supply chain industry is a big plus; but more important is the ability to quickly absorb new information about our technologies and solutions and apply it to select target markets.

Proven ability to lead multiple ongoing activities, meet tight timelines and deliver clear results to ensure respect of marketing across the organization.

Experience working across multiple countries, and ability/flexibility to work within an international environment.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to present strategic information to large groups of professionals inside and outside the company.

Ability to strategically plan, develop and implement tactics and activities in multiple locations.

Ability to lead and manage independently, while working collaboratively with all levels of employees and customers in a global matrix management environment.

Must have a Bachelors or Masters degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant business, marketing or technology related to the business' solutions.

Experience with content curation and syndication and growth hacking preferred.

Experience with Marketo and Salesforce preferred

Ability to mentor and coach employees

Previously worked to KPIs and succeeded
Experience working within the Supply Chain / Logistics sector would be a big plus.
Experience with AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) would be highly desirable.

£55 - 60k

Home based (but would be required to visit the office in the North West once a month).

There are no specialist Health & Safety issues related to this role.
