The company is a global manufacturer of industrial heating, cooling and heat recovery products & systems. This is a customer facing design role; with a focus on design and R&D, with regular client interaction.

• HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 Years + in a Design, Applications or Project Engineer role
• Excellent communication skills
• Desirable skills include; CFD computational fluid dynamics) software such as ANSYS
• Strong 3D CAD Skills - Solidworks or similar
• Some experience in a customer facing engineering role would be beneficial.

To drive product development projects from concept to completion
Use CAD system for new designs or the modification of existing designs.
Provision of drawings as required to support samples and new production requirements, working in close liaison with the Manufacturing Engineers to ensure compatibility of drawings and planning.
To consider methods of prototype and production manufacture and advise accordingly.
Where appropriate, to design and oversee tooling as required.
To use analytical tools such as FE and CFD analysis within the 3D CAD package and produce supporting hand calculations as required.
