INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
My client is a 5000-employee strong world leader in the oil & gas and industrial engineering market. They manufacturer a number of turnkey solutions / custom capital equipment packages for a global client base of major EPC, OEM and End User clients. degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technology discipline or experience with overlapping product areas.
Results orientated and demonstrated achievements in sales.
Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mindset.
Preferably international Technical Sales experience with knowledge of rotating equipment or alternatively strong knowledge of the Green Energy, Oil and Gas and Petrochem markets.
Sales experience in high value and high specification engineering highly beneficial.
Excellent presentation and communication Skills including virtual tools
Primary focus to identify and manage customers and opportunities that will deliver the budgeted bookings and future pipeline for the territory assigned.
Develop existing clients and identify new clients through direct and virtual and by giving presentations in the companies' solutions, capabilities and products.
Using a best practice sales toolbox, build and maintain business plans for all "Target" and "Anchor" customers within assigned list of accounts.
Solicit enquiries for the supply of compressors, influencing clients where possible to specify products.
Manage and assist in the preparation of tenders and further clarification of clients and company requirements.
Negotiating contracts with clients while maintaining agreed contribution levels.
Ensure, negotiated contracts are correct and of sufficient detail to pass to the Project Department for execution.
Assist, when required, in liaison with clients after orders have been received
Utilise the CRM Sales Logix System in managing the opportunity pipeline, ensuring key opportunities are up to date and "stage of opportunity" clearly defined.
Identify and report on new market/territory opportunities for our products
By using CRM, complete accurate forecasts for assigned Region on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis
Nominate, develop and manage established agents in assigned regions.
Support the marketing function through reports, client interface, and intelligence data gathering in territory
