TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
Custom design, manufacture and installation of equipment in major pharmaceutical and fine chemical facilities worldwide. GMP compliant. containement and isolation suites
Responsible for the handling and execution of sales enquiries for the complete client
product range, involving all aspects from initial client contact through to order placement
within designated areas of the World. Includes site visits/presentations, the initial
generation of the equipment design, the issue of the quotation and maintaining client
contact throughout. Ensure all requests for information, quotations and tender
submittals are executed accurately and in a timely manner by liaising fully with the
Generation of technical and commercial proposals complete with costing's using the automated system for category 1 and 2 products
Deliver new equipment sales in line with business expectations (value and margin) and assigned targets
Manage sales territory (as defined by the Company)
Work with the Applications Department to ensure that all category 3, 4, 5 and 6 enquiries and quotations are handled in a timely manner with due regard to customer expectations and any specified deadlines
Develop key accounts with clients, building customer loyalty and strengthening customer relationship
Develop and manage the overall relationship with key decision makers (internally and externally), focusing on actions that will ensure customer satisfaction and build customer loyalty
Prepare sales reports and feedback on territory performance and opportunities including successes, developments, and concerns relating to our business.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations in order to promote business, increase awareness in market place and support individual projects
Ensure at all times that prospects lists are accurate and up to date
Be proactive in developing prospects and enquiries within your specified sales territory
Manage and recruit sales agents in those export countries/territories that you are responsible for.
Attend any exhibitions and Table Tops seminars that are necessary.
Promote sharing of information and teamwork between external sales staff, sales agents and the after sales team in order to improve communication, staff utilisation and customer service
Prepare and facilitate transfer of relevant sales information to the Operations Team for any purchase orders received
