SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - CONVEYORS
My client operates within the automation / intralogistics / materials handling industry. They have a worldwide presence. They have various sites in the UK, and have shown an ongoing commitment to developing their staff and boast one a low staff turnover.
An engineering background is an advantage. Open on experience but must cover one or more of the following; " Automation " Materials Handling " Logistics " Warehousing " Conveyors " Supply chain
To manage the execution of projects through all phases (cradle to grave). Key areas To manage multiple projects; for different customers across a number of sites simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, to the agreed scope and meet the customers' agreed specification. " Project Initiation - Ensure that all projects are initiated in the correct way " Health and Safety " Project Management - Manage all elements of the project delivery for a given project, to scope, schedule and cost, whilst ensuring that the company's project management and processes are adhered to. " Supplier/Customer Management - Establish productive business relationships with all levels of suppliers and customers " Project Reporting - Provide informal weekly and formal monthly internal reports on progress and where necessary formal progress reports to clients " Maintain and implement an up to date project time schedule; this has to indicate clearly the critical path of activities and any deviations from plan
