Along with our satellite companies, we manufacture an impressive range of equipment, and have representation in over 50 countries along with service engineers to provide the optimum level of customer support, including the capability to oversee large Turn-Key projects.

The successful applicant will be a multi skilled engineer Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, qualified to an HNC/HND level. Experienced in dault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment and systems. You will be conversant with PLC Controls (Mitsubishi, Siemens, AB), able to monitor and change programs as required. It is important that you are able to work on your own inititative in a professional manner both autonomously or aspart of a team on site worldwide.
The role requires visiting customers premises to commission new and service existing equipment both in the UK and worldwide.

Each commissioning trip is usually between 1 and 3 weeks and on average you will spend about 50% of your time over seas. When not onsite you will be based at our head office in Woodston Peterborough assisting in technical support and testing equipment prior to dispatch.

Liaise with customers in a courteous and professional manner at all times to keep them informed of your travel arrangements and requirements whilst on site.
Complete the required report forms and acceptance prototcols within and acceptable time after returning to site.
Follow up on the submitted report to ensure actions are understood and completed.
Keep up to date with all expenses, reports and latest machine updates through helping test machines whilst in the office.
Ensure Quality & Safety are highest priority wherever you are working.
Help develop the Omega product line with continuous improvement and innovation.

Salary is TBC & overseas payment, Bi annual bonus, pension (employee 5% employer 7.5%) (Eligible after 1 year) Expenses paid and company vehicle provided.
