Working as part of the Systems Engineering Team, responsible for the design of project systems. Project scope typically will include pumps, motors, valves, vessels, instruments, pipe work, base frames and electrical equipment.

Meticulous attention to detail. Pro-active planning & organisation skills. Understanding of package equipment design and ability to read/write P&IDs. Strong understanding of industry standards. Experience and understanding of engineering contracts, specifications and data management. Self-motivated and well organised. Excellent communication skills. Workshop / on site experience.

Responsible for the design of the equipment with the support of a Project Engineer (including design handover and design reviews). Responsible for complying with client specifications with a meticulous attention to detail. Responsible for the selection of components and the project bill of material. Work with the purchasing team to ensure correct specification components are sourced. Work with the Team Coordinator to ensure all requested reporting data is accurate and delivered on time. Provide updates update information for the Project Management System. Work with the Systems Workshop Manager/Team to ensure the effective communication of design information. Lead in the development of 'standard system' package designs. Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the design library. Assist in the implementation of a PDM system. Conduct site surveys where required. Fully embrace 5S and continuous improvement methodologies. Assist with business development activities where required. Responsible for design workload scheduling and providing progress reports to project engineers. Assist with the development of standardised drawings.
