PROJECT MANAGER - MACHINE INSTALLATION

The team can help plan machinery installations, machine and tool rentals and post sales service as well as optimising your consumable use to minimize cost and wastage. We distribute from the UK and hold a wide range of products on stock and are able to offer next day delivery on products from one reel to full container loads.
HNC or equivalent preferred.
Apprentice trained in Mechanical or electrical engineering.
Comprehensive Pneumatic and electrical skills.
Programming experience would be an advantage.
Clean driving licence.
Industry product knowledge preferred both on the groups and competitors machines.
Must be a team player, but have an ability to work on own initiative.
Must have an ability to develop and maintain good customer relations.
Must have a flexible approach to the job especially relating to weekend and overtime working.
Must be available to work a minimum of 1 Weekend in 4
Must be available to travel and work abroad to assist with the servicing and implementation of any group projects.
Must provide call out cover to specific group industrial sectors.
Manage, install, Service and repair all types of equipment supplied by the group, either onsite or in the repair depot / workshop. The standard of repair must be to a high engineering standard so the tool / machine performs well and improves the life expectancy and efficiency of the equipment.
Close control of parts and delivering specific KPI's is paramount to offering value and support.
Monitor the movements of all hand tools / spare parts allocated to your onsite account and in the depot by using the department's relevant paperwork.
Establish and maintain, excellent customer relations to recognise and respond to any customer requirements regarding performance, improvements and support.
Assist with the operation and control of the allocation of spares and the tool holding requirements for the hand tool department and any associated car stock when required.
When required assist in the day to day running of the department to maintain efficiency in the absence of the department manager.
Provide detailed and working knowledge with competitors machine to assist the KAM to deliver growth and customer within the relevant key account sectors.
Provide assistance in any other area of the companies business, training, site demo's etc. to any other group personnel.
