ELECTRONICS ENGINEER - ALUMINIUM MANUFACTURING
Working on a rotating shift pattern 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am, permanent contract. We are opening this vacancy to both internal and external candidates. Working as part of the dedicated maintenance team you will be responsible for assisting with ensuring the continuation of our manufacturing operation and leading the way with improvement projects and solutions.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent. Electrical certification for up to 1kV. The ability to complete documentation. Previous electronics engineer experience. Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and follow specifications.
Operating and programming PLC's, AC/DC motor drives, servo drives;
Locating faults, diagnosing and repairing control systems, industrial networks (i.e. Ethernet, DeviceNet), HMI’s;
Ensuring high product quality through monitoring, adjusting and maintaining visual inspection systems and other testing equipment;
Participate in preventive maintenance programs, taking regular measurements.
There are no specialist Health & Safety issues related to this role.
