KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER OEM - AUTOMATION AND CONTROL - SOUTH WEST

Reporting to the Sales Manager of the UK OEM Team, and operating within the South West, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing, developing and aggressively growing the OEM business within the Region.
The Account Developer will be responsible for achieving the Annual Sales and Growth Targets for a designated set of accounts, through the development of existing customers, but mainly through winning new customers by proactive business development. There are approximately 30 Key Accounts, across a range of process industries, including Oil and Gas.
Responsibility for the overall account coordination, including account planning and target setting.
The role requires the ability to develop very strong relationships at a senior level within OEMs, to develop a thorough understanding of the Customers business, and to identify opportunities across all business units.
Prior minimum 4-6 years experience in a technology-based organization, excellent knowledge about production processes within certain industries.
Proven ability in appropriate competencies

Proven track record and sales experience within the OEM marketplace
Ability to acquire new business within existing and new customers
Degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent
Additional education in business administration or marketing is preferred
Local language skills, plus active English language skills (verbal and written)

60-70k package, split 75/25% base/bonus
70% bonus guarantueed in First quarter
