COMMERCIAL MANAGER - PUMPS / ROTATING MACHINERY
To strengthen the ESD management team, significantly improve sales and operational procedures for spares and remedials, provide commercial expertise and support global growth in Engineering Services business.
Essential -Engineering background with experience of centrifugal pumps. -Experience in working within a service organisation. -Identification and Development of new and existing customer relationships. -Presentation and negotiating skills with customers. -Highly numerate with command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. -Full driving licence. -Able to work and travel internationally. -Desirable -Minimum of a Mechanical Qualification to BTEC, HNC or Equivalent. -Experience of using SAP. -Experience working outside the UK. -Personal Qualities -Effective time management and organisational skills. -Accountable for results -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Self-motivated and driven. -Ability to work within company policy and procedure. -Ability to build a high performing team. -Ability to work as part of a wider team or independently, as necessary.
-Provide senior management leadership, support and decision making to the Lakeview ESD commercial teams. -Improve sales processes for spare parts, remedial work and generate business growth. -Implement processes and working practices that will increase FSE utilisation. -Provide commercial knowledge and support on terms and conditions across the ESD business, both UK and overseas. -Work with the ESD senior management team to expand ESD business globally. -Implementation of Service Max for others IRO's as appropriate. -Work with the FSE Operations Manager and Coordinate global skills mapping of FSE. -Recommend and implement processes to maximise the utilisation of combined SPP/KBL FSE Team. -Identify and implement process improvements to support global growth. -Provide support to the FSE Operations Managers to develop documented procedures, achieve and maintain the necessary ISO HSE accreditations. -Preparing reports for Senior Managers. -Negotiation of pricing, availability and technical solutions as necessary. -Performance to set KPI's. -Generating and qualifying leads. -Analysing sales data to identify new opportunities. -Travelling to visit existing and potential clients. -Staff appraisals and development. -Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures. -Present a professional image, support and promote brand values at all times
