BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (North, South, MCC) - SWITCHGEAR
Following years of continued growth our client are looking to appoint 3 new BDM's within the UK.
Our Client offers extensive HV & LV Switchgear suitable for a range of applications. With the installation of switchgear, a reliable and robust electrical system is guaranteed. They can deliver bespoke solutions for specific requirements or offer a range of adaptable modular systems. Flexibility is fundamental to finding the right solution to power problems.
Develop profitable business through effective sales activities with both new and existing customers and markets. Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and potential accounts Generate new business leads using appropriate sales and marketing methods and measure the conversion rate on such leads. Compile high quality proposals and deliver them to clients in a timely and professional manner. Achieve annual sales and margin targets whilst contributing towards the Company's growth in line with the business plan. Develop and execute a clear and effective sales plan. Proactively identify new customers, markets and opportunities. Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries. Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities. Act as main point of contact for customers. Proactively develop knowledge on industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities. Develop and maintain an appropriate level of reporting providing monthly updates on activities undertaken and key activities going forward. Liaise with inter-company divisions to ensure contracts are being identified and won in line with financial targets for the Company and that all relevant opportunities are being exploited. Attending and support marketing events in line with business requirements.
£50,000 - £60,000, bonus, car allowance, pension. life assurance, private medical, laptop and mobile phone
