CNC SERVICE ENGINEER-SPECIAL PURPOSE & ROBOTICS

You are an Engineer with interface and machine tool diagnostic skills and have experience in fault finding and repair of CNC controls and servo drive. PLC and CAD / CAM knowledge. Relevant Electrical/ Electronic qualifications. A thorough knowledge of all types of Machine Tools will be appreciated. You are prepared to travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with occasional trips to other parts of Europe. A sound analytical approach to problem solving. The ability to work independently, with a sound degree of self-initiative and flexibility is required. A customer focus and the ability to adapt to changing business conditions are a must.
Diagnose and repair our client's products. To maintain, service and repair CNC systems and other Products Promote the sale of our services. To assist in all aspects of customer care. To provide technical assistance, both by telephone and by visit to customer site. Be able to provide training to customers in how to operate, program and maintaining techniques. Complete regular scheduled maintenance visits. Be willing to attend emergency breakdown service on customer sites including completing diagnostics and remedying machine faults. Provide technical support to internal and external staff. This role will be predominantly covering the Greater Midlands region but you will be expected to travel across the UK when required therefore you must be flexible to stay away from home.
