FIELD PROJECT ENGINEER- PACKAGING CAPITAL EQUIPMENT
Our client are supplying and distributing end of line packaging from there own manufacturing plants, including Banding, Strapping and Stretch Film means that they have the expertise to provide optimal products at the lowest cost to our customers.
A sound engineering background, electrical engineering ONC/HNC preferred or experience in installation/commissioning of strapping/wrapping machines is desirable with a proven ability to write and program plc software. An ability to broaden existing knowledge and experience An ability to work as part of a team and also an ability to work on own initiative Responsibility for quality of own work in accordance with quality procedures Awareness of safe working practices at all times Must be prepared to travel within the UK and mainland Europe as and when required.
On site customer visits Planning and ordering of machine items Planning and implementing project charts Assist in the mechanical installation of machinery where required on a technical basis. Assist in the electrical installation when required on a technical basis. Assist in installation of guarding and lightguards when required on a technical basis. Assist in the commissioning of machines when required Assist in the final testing of machines when required Implement and control designated cost control procedures Modification of manuals if required, to ensure the manual relates to the machine Assisting the Service Department with breakdown calls when and where required Weekend work will be required to ensure the project meets the project deadline The duties stated above are in no way intended to be restrictive and are flexible to the development of the individual.
