Our Client is a world leader in safety instruments systems, and has been in the market for 15 years. They are a member of the EIC (the leading trade association for companies who provide goods and services to the Einergy Industry worldwide). Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful applicant will be required to promote the sale of their innovative software offering that requires professional engineering knowledge. Applicants must be (UK) Professionally qualified within country of operation; Must be/have recent experience in Oil & Gas process, and/or Instrumentation and Controls Capability in the development of systems logic in either control or safety applications; Engineering expertise in rotating equipment, Oil & Gas process, and/or Instrumentation and Controls; An understanding or qualification in safety regulations or standards such as IEC61511 would be preferable.

The main job remit is to, within assigned territory (UK), promote the company software offering which requires professional engineering knowledge to make judgments involving complex engineering and economic principles, and calculations to persuade potential buyers of the practical value of the product or service.
Major responsibilities/expectations of this role include:
Carrying out sales activities in accordance with a pre-established Individual Business Plan;
Strengthening relationships with existing accounts and develop new accounts to grow target market; Reviewing blueprints, plans and other customer documents to develop, prepare and present control enhancement strategies and ROI estimates.
Site Specific: Must be eligible and able to obtain work visa or work permit in country/site of field assignment(s).
Valid international drivers license preferred.

Attractive £40-60k salary, plus bonus, car and pension.
