PROJECT MANAGER- CONVEYORS
Our client manufactures vehicle loaders which offer innovative solutions for vehicle loading, warehouse distribution and assembly line set up.

Customer Orientation - focused on identifying customer needs and establishes long term relationships.
Competent with using software packages such as Acad, Excel, Word & Projects
Mechanical & Electrical engineering background (not essential)
Cross border thinking - working with other groups especially in Sales /Procurement / Design.
Shaping Direction - leading through periods of rapid change/integration.Constructive Challenge - move the company forward via new techniques.
Building & Managing Partnerships - establish strong relationships with contractors.
Commitment - drive to work under pressure to achieve goals.
Minimum 5yrs of managing a department in a similar environment in parcel handling or FMCG/manufacturing.
Technically competent in all of the latest management techniques and with excellent knowledge of H & S legislation and best practise.
PC literate with excellent communications skills capable of dealing with people from all levels of the organisation.
All Health & Safety Issues within the installation team and sub contractors.
On-going improvement of installation efficiencies in order to maximise margins.
Updating multiple on-going installation budgets to monitor & report monthly to operations
Liaise with installation supervisors to schedule and plan resources for weekly / daily installations
Create H&S plan, project documents and RAMS for each installation
Ensuring customer delivery due dates are achieved to the required quality standard.
Liaise with servicing and end user to ensure successful handover
Close liaison with Design Department & Operations to ensure feedback of products is produced.
On going staff development and training.
Vetting of new contractors
Setting up of CDM sites
