SERVICE TEAM LEADER - OIL & GAS

Our client is engaged in the industrial automation and control (IA), test and measurement, and other businesses segments. The IA segment plays a vital role in a wide range of industries including oil, chemicals, natural gas, power, iron and steel, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, and food.
Discuss with customers ways of satisfying their demands whilst optimising revenue and margin performance. Provide technical and commercial support/management for service projects quotation activity. Carry out feasibility studies/site surveys on customers systems and recommend courses of action. To project manage service projects. Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of our client and 3rd Party Systems products and an understanding of their application together with a competitive advantage. To assist with the formation of marketing and publicity activities in relation to the VPS services business. Monitor and report progress against plan. Line management of assigned engineers, service engineers as allocated. Resolve customer problems through provision of resources and site meetings as required by the customer.
Degree or equivalent in business technology and management, industrial automation, electrical engineering. Able to demonstrate a technical knowledge of Safety and/or Control Systems. Preferably, previous commercial experience within a service based organisation. Experienced with MS Office applications. SAP knowledge beneficial. Service-oriented, commercial attitude, stress-resistant and accurate. Good communication skills and a high degree of self-motivation. Full driving licence.
