This Company is the UK's leading catalogue based distributor of Fluid Power products. The company enjoys an expanding presence in Europe and an overall turnover in excess of £40m, with over 80,000 product lines and employing over 150 employees. The Company provides an extensive range of quality products with a reputation for delivering service excellence to its Customers. To meet growing customer demand, The Company is seeking to expand its existing UK Business Development Team with the addition of a confident, enthusiastic Key Account Manager, who should be capable of working on their own initiative to maximise sales.

Office based, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for building relationships with existing customers by managing their performance, providing quotes and thus generating further sales orders, the successful candidates will ideally possess a knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial products. Consideration however, will also be given to candidates who can demonstrate good communication and computer skills, allied to a confident telephone manner.

PC Literate, Microsoft Office in particular Excel & Power Point. Organisation; company systems must be used to retain all records.
An adaptable telephone manner.
Reliable attendance record.
Ability to retain and recall information after a period of time.
Ability to prioritise using their own judgement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Sales history with examples of target focused results.
Industry/Product knowledge.
Imaginative, in terms of promotions and offers.
Comfortable with relaying information, monthly meetings etc.
Problem solving skills.

Salary to reflect experience. Pension scheme, life assurance and profit related bonus after qualifying period. Full training will be given in relation to systems and products.
