SENIOR SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER (CHEMICAL) - OIL & GAS
The company is a leading manufacturer of custom designed systems for the process industries. The Company have over 40 years' experience, backed by a comprehensive list of world-wide references in a wide range of process industries - including oil & gas, water, chemical, food and pharmaceuticals
Design and development of the company product portfolio. Successfully support projects from concept through to commissioning. Production of detailed design documentation, including process design calculations, P&IDs, schematics, suitable for design appraisals by client. Maintain software and systems necessary for complete engineering design, ensuring quality, safety, reliability, maintainability and cost efficiency. Work closely with the Sales Team, Mechanical Design Engineers and Project Engineers to ensure all the applicable design elements have been included. Any other duties as required that are commensurate with this level within the organisation, and deemed by Management to be within the post holder's capability.
Relevant Engineering Degree (Process or Chemical preferred). Oil and Gas background preferred. Conceptual design experience including development of P&IDs, calculations. Appreciation of process engineering, pipework, pumps, valves, control and instrumentation. Commercially aware. Proactive and analytical in approach to problem solving. Creative and resourceful. Experience at working both independently and in a team- orientated environment. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving is essential. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment. Advanced interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels.
