Degree level education preferred, or equivalent industrial experience. Experienced Project Manager with history of project delivery and client management. Sound understanding (at high level) of technology being delivered within Solution. Good people motivation and management skills; used to operating within matrix management organisation. Good appreciation of client sector.

Client interface; overall responsible for project. Co-production, with Technical Manager (TM). Project Plan:- production & active management. Decomposition of project into work packages for project team members. Project team management, inter-working, & scheduling. Progress and financial reporting to external and internal stakeholders. Change management & requirements maintenance. Ensure handover to Service dept. in line with standards & support requirements. Document and record decisions, actions, minutes, conversations between clients and suppliers.
Compliance to extant project management processes; ensuring 10-golden rules are applied. Identification of customised needs/processes to be used within account and production of such (including owning approval/agreement for use from Quality manager). Identification and championing project delivery, and other areas, process improvements.
Matrix management of entire Project delivery team (Our staff and contractors assigned to project). Mentor to project team members as appropriate, involving specific expertise and skills.
Be familiar with, review and assess client imposed T&Cs, with regards to risk & delivery of one's projects & any associated CCNs (Change Control Notices). Ensure T&Cs are imposed on suppliers which manage risk to delivery of your project 'On time, On Quality & On Budget'. Achieve or improve on the 'sold At' margin for projects managed. Maintain commercial records for ones projects including cash flow, expenditure, out turn and PRUS (project efficiency). Identify areas of potential commercial risk to sales at the assessment stage of a project or CCN. Assess and quantify the commercial impact when a delay occurs within a project as a result of the client or CCN imposed. Chase bad debt with respect to payments from clients.
