KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER / SALES ENGINEER - FOOD / PROCESS INDUSTRIES
Our client is an integrated mechanical and electrical engineering group offering a wide range of services including: Supply of Engineering Components (Hydraulics / Pneumatics / Valves / Pumps/ Motors / Gearboxes / Fabrications etc) and Maintenance, repair and overhaul of existing plant and equipment
Time Served Engineer (Mechanical / Production Engineering) or related field.
Strong commercial skills.
Demonstrable experience working in either an internal / external sales role ideally selling into some or all of the following sectors; food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, fabrications, rail & transporation etc.
Must be able to work with clients to provide an engineered solution to their specific needs and sell the company's full range of products and services.
Assisting the Engineering Sector Managers to explore opportunities with existing and new clients by developing long term relationships through correctly managing and interpreting their requirements.
Liaising with customers to establish their requirements and transferring the information to Account Managers / Engineering Estimators to allow for accurate quotation and manufacture
Produce quotations for customers' requirements from drawings, samples and descriptions.
Ensure that the quotation contains an adequate level of information consisting of a clear description of what is going to be supplied and if applicable what is excluded, what may be charged as extra etc.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how the companies services and products can meet the client's needs
Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
