PRODUCTION MANAGER - FLUID CONTROL SYSTEMS
Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist valves and Fluid control systems for the Water, Waste-water, Oil & Gas and Process industries.
Strong Technical background - ideally a time served engineer / HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Experience managing a production team using both conventional and CNC Machines. Ability to manage work through the workshop - ensuring deadlines are met. Experience developing and implimenting continous improvement strategy / KPI's etc. Strong Management skills - ideally within a similar low volume, high value production environment.
Management of the Production team. To ensure the smooth running of the production operation. Management of H&S within the works. Management responsibility for a team of operators / machinists. Responsibility for training, development and mentoring the team. All HR / Disciplinary matters within the production team. Setting and monitoring of production targets (KPIs). Ensuring that all production targets are met. Maintaining all relevant QA standards. Fostering and developing continous improvement strategy within the team. Working as part of the senior management team within the business.
Excellent basic salary plus management bonus, car allowance, Pension, Medical etc.
