REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - VACUUM PUMPS

Distinct vacuum experience and market knowledge, the candidate must be fully conversant with sizing and selection of pumps, pipework and systems. Strong sales background - within the vacuum industry IT literate Sound knowledge of the compressed air market Strong customer focus Strong commercial orientation Excellent communication skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues Strong planning and organising ability Good business analysis skills
To achieve and exceed the expectations in growing and sustaining the new division's products targets, reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be actively involved in setting these targets both regionally and nationally. To deliver sales within the geographical area, in conjunction with the allocated sales routes while working to targets agreed. Provide 'Key account' territorial management within the designated geographical territory. Increase and develop the levels of customer satisfaction through increased contact with all distributors. To educate and motivate the respective area sales engineers, providing reports and updates as required to support any targets set. To ensure the direct sales activity is monitored and supported including defining and delivering key objectives for the VC's. To be actively involved with sales product and marketing campaigns in conjunction with the BLM,s within set time scales. To support new product introductions. To develop our strategic approach to our Distributor network to maximise the development of sales opportunities and margins, with focus on ALL products and services to ensure loyalty and long term productive relationships. To update all data in the required time scales: Monthly reports, distributor analysis, forecasting and generated lead information. Key to the success is communication, across the divisions, a key element is the ability to communicate at all levels and is fundamental to this role. OEM opportunities will be part of the focus.
