Assess and evaluate tenders and project documentation. Create tender response questions and communicate back to customer. Lead and coordinate project team members. Organise initial and interim internal project meetings. Participate in solution design meetings making final recommendations on preferred designs. Oversee design progression to maintain integrated designs. Review all drawings / pricing / technical and commercial proposals provided from the design team.

" Prepare and conduct presentations in a professional way when required during the sales process.
" To interact with sister company team members to demonstrating current thoughts and ideas.
" Bring the project to a final negotiation stage and successfully close the contract. With large projects you should involve management in this process.
" To attend weekly / monthly management meetings to agree project milestones and resource capability.
" Drive team activities to deliver project objectives on time.
" To be responsible for your own time and your subordinates and ensure the productive use of resource(s).
" To maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products and services for you and your team members.
" Contribute towards the continuous development of the system group.
" Proactively ensure personal safety and the safety of others by complying with the Company's health and safety policies and procedures.

The role will help lead the sales team in projects using the whole range of the companys portfolio to develop medium size solutions for semi-automated and fully automated warehousing projects.
Projects will typically be valued between £1m and £20m. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong commercial awareness and communication skills and the have the ability to learn the technical skills required to present the leading edge technologies and IT systemsr. Covering the UK and based from home the individual will travel to and from customers, including travel to our sister organisations. The candidate should have at least 5 years previous industry experience.
