The Client is an American Multinational Corporation and fortune 500 company. They operate in various markets and are involved in a vast array of products including process control, industrial automation and power technologies. This role involves working in their Valves & Regulators division.

HNC/Degree in Engineering Discipline, or equivalent;
Sales/Engineering background in Related Technology (Valves)
Solid industry knowledge/business knowledge;
Proven background in proactive selling;
Business awareness;
IT Literate.

Provide dedicated focus for control valve and regulator sales and growth strategies in the South East to achieve and exceed bookings and growth targets ensuring consistency with business unit strategies;
Utilise consultative selling techniques & relevant account planning tools to develop an understanding of the customer and their needs.
Monitor the marketplace and gather intelligence to identify early opportunities in the South East project arena and device strategies to maximize success.
Work with Internal Sales to present an appropriate commercial quotation/proposal to the customer.
Provide accurate sales forecasts on a monthly basis highlighting any budget issues, risks and resource requirements. In addition, prepare an annual bookings budget by product/value/period.
Proactively use the UK CRM tool to ensure effective customer communication and co-ordination.
Utilise the Strategic selling (Blue Sheets), sales negotiations and sales presentations processes.
Attend and contribute to business unit and Regional Business team meetings/training as required.
Take ownership for additional initiatives/programmes as required by the Sales & Marketing Director - Valves & Regulators.
Ensure full compliance with legal and company requirements with regards to Trade Compliance and Ethical Business and follow the necessary procedures.

£45k + Bonus + Car + Bens 1
