SENIOR SALES ENGINEER - AIRPORTS
Large Blue Chip Client with a focus on Airports and materials handling.
Automation background/ Baggage process experience preferred. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Controls) preferred. Technical knowledge. Understanding of airport industry. Solutions development and bid writing preferred. Excellent written skills, eye for detail, creative style. Proactive problem solving. Self starter. Understanding of Projects, IT and Maintenance Service preferred. Interpersonal planning and presentation skills. Completer/finisher. MS Office to professional level inc. MS Project or similar.
Develop Baggage Handling Systems designs in collaboration with customers. Liaise with customers to address their operational requirements. Produce documentation of a technical nature. Attending planning/briefing meetings. Assist/Manage and produce/options, tender bids and quotations in collaboration with the Sales Team. Support the sales teams with technical input and customer presentations. Work with Engineering, IT and the Innovation Centre to clarify technical issues. Formulate project timescales/plan in collaboration with the Operations Dept. Liaising with subject matter experts and Sales and Marketing specialists. Working on and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Keeping up to date with developments and trends in the industry. Writing, editing and presenting information, indexing and cataloguing material as appropriate. Sales Engineers; support when required.
£40-55k + benefits
