PROJECT MANAGER - AUTOMATED WAREHOUSING

Manage projects in Middle East and Africa for Industrial (Racking, Shelving) and Integrated (Conveyors, Mobile Racking, Lift Systems) Storage Solutions.
Work with the designated Site manager when applicable to ensure installation works are conducted in accordance with Schaefer's Work Health and Safety Management Plan.
User your technical expertise to problem solve issues that occur during installation.
Providing detailed planning and coordination of all project activities including comprehensive schedules, adequate documentation and customer sign-off of all key requirements and deliverables.
Providing monthly reports for each project including project status, customer satisfaction, risk register, financial status, phasing of turnover, cash flow and forecast margin at completion.
Supporting the sales team in the pre-contract phase to reassure customers and provide valuable input to proposals.
Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturer to ensure that the equipment is integrated and installed correctly.
Co-ordinate container deliveries to site with installation team, builder and customer.
Organise pre-site and on-site meetings with a range of professionals who work to ensure the project is successful, including subcontractors and the client.
Finding solutions to problems that may cause delays, such as the late arrival of materials and difficult access.
Coordinate multiple trades on site to ensure the project schedule is adhered to at all times.
Ensure installation work carried out meet the required safety standards and the manufacturer's recommendations.
Ensure faults identified in safety audits are rectified promptly.
Work closely with customers, internal suppliers and external suppliers to ensure that projects ultimately deliver the outcomes that our customers expect.
Carefully identifying and assessing risks (both customer and supplier side) in projects and then managing these risks accordingly to ensure a smooth implementation and target outcomes.
£30-£36K Tax free, Monthly Housing Allowance, Transport Allowance, Bonus - personal & company etc.
