The MarCom Executive is responsible for supporting the execution of the promotional and communications strategy for the UK, in-line with EMEA central MarComs and the UK sales & marketing organisational strategy. This position is to assist the MarCom Manager in driving activities, both day to day and project specific. Activities includes Public Relations, event management, partner program development & adoption, sales rep & customer training and general value-based communications, both internal and external. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Assist with the day to day Marcom activities and to work closely with the MarCom Manager in the development and implementation of specific projects/processes/tools. • Establish and execute internal and external campaigns through effective communication and focused messaging to different target audiences including the monitoring and reporting of campaign analytics. • Public Relations - be the main daily contact point for the company's PR agencies, supporting proactive engagement between them and company spokespeople, ensuring topics are progressive and supportive of company's overall brand & communication strategy. • Event Management - primary responsibility for selection & delivery of trade show events on time and within budget with demonstrable ROI. • Sales Enablement - through delivery of training & communication materials, portals and other tools to enable improved sales effectiveness & efficiency. • Lead Generation - be responsible for supervision of lead management resulting from Marcom activities, whilst utilising CI & BI to consistently improve the cost of lead generation and win-rate from leads. • Digital Marketing - Work closely with the digital marketing manager to provide content and utilization of processes and tools to support campaigns, such as Web, Social media, Eloqua and CRM. • Support the UK CSO and central MarComs team to drive the adoption and implementation of MarComs processes and tools through the UK segments and business units to ensure efficiency and consistency. Identifying and adapting where appropriate to UK segments/market to ensure best results. • All other activities as developed as part of the UK CSO marketing strategy to deliver increased market share and brand equity.

••• Proven track record of MarComs excellence including working with PR agencies, social media, event and campaign management within the IT, construction and/or industrial sectors. ••• A history of success in sales & marketing-related activities (e.g. inside sales, lead management, demand creation and CRM) would also be of significant benefit. ••• Goal focused, results driven individual with strong project management and execution skills. ••• A good commercial business acumen with ability to work within a highly matrixed organization and influence at all levels of the organisation. ••• Knowledge and experience with electrical products is desirable but not essential as training & onboarding will be provided.

This role is paying 40-43k, with an 8% bonus. The package also includes holidays, private health and other flexible benefits.

The job is based in Slough, but will require up to 25% travel.
