ONC or equivalent experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship - desirable Functional competencies Able to engage positively with the customer and colleagues Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions Understanding business and customer needs Able to operate effectively within a rotating shift pattern Technical Competencies Competence as per H&S regulations in the following areas: Ability to work at height Ability to learn and retain technical information Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions Have a logical approach to fault finding and resolution Operate within a designed structure of pre-planned maintenance Core Competencies Initiative Communication Team player Situational sensitivity Customer focus Networker A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings Basic understanding of control systems and techniques Basic understanding of PLC equipment Working at height Previous experience of working with various conveyor systems PC literacy Understanding of pre-preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules Working knowledge of FEM and British Standards governing the automated warehouse industry Experience of the application of health and safety regulations to an automated warehouse environment

Carry out AMHE equipment servicing in accordance to the quality standards as set out in the equipment manuals. To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices. To undertake repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices. Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC. Prioritise system faults. To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times. To ensure quality of output at all times. To accurately record all work undertaken. Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities. Maintain product flow at all times. To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels. To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations. To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company. Other duties as required.
