This is an ideal role for an individual seeking a career working in a dynamic project management environment within the Rail, Private Network & Utilities sectors. You will form part of the Project Management team focussing on the planning and delivery of multi-disciplined projects.

Possesses good IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Able to multi-task and have the ability to effectively manage own time and meet deadlines. Able to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion. Ability to work under pressure. Pro-active approach and a willingness to contribute new ideas. Possesses a good technical understanding of electrification projects. Understands the clients infrastructure, access and technical constraints which may put at risk the timely delivery of the project and pro-actively works with internal and external teams to resolve. PM experience essential (minimum 10 years). Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015. Good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act. Holds an Engineering qualification (electrical desirable). Holds a Project Management qualification (APMP / Prince 2 desirable). P3 / MS Project competent. Full Driving licence. Rail, Private Networks, or Utilities experience desirable.

Management of individual projects or a portfolio of projects. Provides input and assistance with the tendering of prospective contracts. Supports the pre-contract client interface. Ensures that project set-up, reporting and schedules are baselined and subsequently updated in accordance with the contract. Manages the day-to-day operational and strategic aspects of multiple or large-scale projects. Oversees Project Managers working on packages of work. Management of sub-contractors for the supply of specialist services. Serves as key participant in team and client meetings. Reviews high-level deliverables across projects. Minimises the businesses exposure to risk and maximises opportunities across multiple projects. Analyses profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, resource utilisation and efficiency across projects. Analyses financial data and seeks ways to maximise revenue. Assists in the design evaluation of projects to ensure deliverability. Anticipates clients needs and proposes alternative business solutions. Reviews the status reports of team members across projects and addresses issues as appropriate. Manages issues openly and quickly. Lends expertise to internal teams. Ensures projects are delivered without compromising on safety.

£55-80,000 Depending on experience.
