Successfully manage a project team for the construction and installation of large electrical/mechanical projects associated with Peak Generation/Capacity Market.

Essential: Must have working knowledge of design, installation and maintenance of electrical/mechanical installations. Ideally this should include; diesel and gas generation, electrical control and protections systems. Practical knowledge and approach to Health and Safety. High level of organisational and planning skills. A professional approach and a proven record of project management is essential. Commercial awareness and knowledge of NEC Contracts. Strong operational skills includingproductivity monitoring and control, quality systems, health & safety and environmental. Full driving licence. Good proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, etc. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Desirable: Multi contractor management. Understanding of Distribution and Embedded Generation systems. Appreciation of Grid/DNO connection procedures. Essential: HND or equivalent in Engineering related discipline, e.g. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical. Environmental and CDM Awareness. Desirable: HND/HNC education in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Power Engineering. IOSH/NEBOSH.

Representing the interest of the client and maintain and develop the current strong customer and partner relationships. Initial and ongoing customer meetings, working knowledge of CDM. Strong project management skills. Experience with managing relationships with stakeholders and contractors. Liaising with and supervising the work of other professionals involved in the project. Ensuring that the project milestones are met. Ensuring that the quality standards are adhered to. Ensuring that the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are adhered to. Maintaining records of expenditure, accounting, costing and billing. Responsibility for planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of projects. Responsibility to ensure the client's wishes are adhered to and that the project is completed on time within the agreed budget. Contribute to Company objectives and values. Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required. Continuously look for improvements to the service and for effective good practice within the role. Budget and delivery responsibility. Technical engineering liaison with contractors and other business functions.

Circa £40,000 to £60,000 per annum - depending upon experience, plus Bonus Opportunity, Company Car/Car Allowance
