Our client is a leading distributor of specialist fixtures / fittings and components into the Oil & Gas, Automotive and Aerospace industries. We are looking for an Industry Sales Manager to head up the Sales team within the Aerospace division.

Have thorough knowledge of the market, key customers, key suppliers and technology relating to the Aerospace Fastener and related Products. Have the ability to organise everything concerned with the AEROSPACE sector development Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional European languages would be a advantageous) Good analytical skills to enable KPI reporting and monitoring of progress. Have good leadership skills to supervise those involved with each stage in the development and manufacturing process To be able to act independently and alone. Possess a creative way of thinking Have the ability to focus on specific goals Be energetic and passionate about Aerospace opportunities. Be able to work under pressure

The Industry Manager Aerospace will: 1.Define the Aerospace marketing and sales development strategy for Europe for the Aerospace Fastener , Component and Support Services offering. (Aerospace Products). 2.Define, plan and work with colleagues to set up the operational and supply chain infrastructure to support this strategy. 3.Produce and implement a Business Plan (BP) for Aerospace Products in Europe that meets the Board requirements. 4.Produce an annual budget for Aerospace Products in Europe to support the board plans consistent with the BP. 5.Personally be involved in specific business development opportunities to ensure BP objectives are achieved. Win some key business to build up the business. 6.Ensure individual business teams are equipped and motivated to achieve BP goals. 7.Work with the operational teams to ensure that the delivery systems are adapted to suit Aerospace customers. 8.Report on progress against Aerospace BP in Europe to the board by presenting comprehensible analysis and KPIs 9.Be an expert in developments in the Aerospace industry relating to fasteners ensuring the offering is adapted to market developments. 10.Produce application stories and copy to support the companies PR effort, and to work with the Group Marketing Manager to achieve the promotion objectives of the BP for Aerospace Products. 11.Develop and grow the business of Aerospace Products in Europe by recruiting, briefing and training the sales force and internal team according to the BP. 12.Perform Aerospace demonstrations to customers at their premises and attended exhibitions. 13.To support the Board in analysing the market for other Aerospace products that the company could supply. 14.To support the Board in whatever projects or developments with existing or new business in Europe.

Excellent basic salary
